Since last published, I:
*Have a job doing what I love ( I teach band in a corn field)
*Have had another baby! (Who is not so much a baby anymore) Noah John Scott Moore, born 367 days after his older brother Evan. Best surprise to date; he makes me laugh every day, and has shown me how truly fast children can grow, change and engage with you. I love his curly little head.
*Got a few new cars
*Re did a few rooms in the house
*sHave learned a lot about life
*till can't do my hair
That about sums it up :)
Oh, you know those google commercials that give you all these great ideas about what to do with the internet? Yeah. Totally ripping one off right now and creating email addresses for my boys. That way, after a day of driving me nuts, I can sit down and email it to them. Or, after a particularly touching moment (like what happened today), I can let them know how much it really meant to me.
For instance:
Evan has become a HUGGER. This kid can be rotten personified, but he does hug us about 120 million times a day; it makes up for a lot. Today, during a hug, he looked at me and said "Mommy, you're my buddy". I nearly lost my composure for the love that was overflowing from my exhausted Mommy heart. "You're my buddy, too" I told him. And I meant it.
That's the kind of stuff I want to make sure he knows; I guess that's kind of why I'm writing this now, too.
